Bon Jour Paris

Today's post is for Friday the 10th.  We are leaving London and taking the EuroStar, the high speed train from London to Paris.  Once in Paris, we went to our first hotel, Hotel du Parc, where we joined up with Bonnie and Steve.

We had a late lunch of crepes and then took the Metro to the Place de la Concorde for what Sharon referred to as "immediate Paris gratification".

Once there we walked the Tuilleries Garden to the Louvre Pyramid.

We then walked along the Seine to the Isle St. Louis and stopped for a beer at Le Flore en I'll as the sun went down.

We walked around and took some night shots and then took the Metro to La Jacobine where we had an excellent dinner.

That was our first day in Paris.
